Livsåren was conceived as the centerpiece of Forskaren, a new hub in Stockholm dedicated to life science innovation and research. Yoke was invited to create a visually and intellectually stimulating artwork that could intrigue and inspire curiosity about life science, regardless of the viewer’s level of expertise. Livsåren is a living installation that bridges art, science, and nature, transforming the building into a dynamic organism. The artwork uses advanced sensors to detect real-time activity within Forskaren, translating the movement of people into a fluid display of light and motion.
