Yoke has had the unique opportunity to answer this challenge by designing a physical and virtual visitor centre for Creative Denmark: House of Creative Denmark. The visitor centre is an exclusive platform for Creative Denmark to brand and pitch the Danish creative industries and businesses to possible collaborators and investors worldwide. To capture the unique creative DNA, Yoke has created a new and living identity for Creative Denmark, which permeates through both the physical and digital design.
The visitor centre - located at the heart of BLOX in Copenhagen - is designed as a beacon of innovation and quality. Flexible solutions and the upcycling and recycling of materials have been a prevailing dogma for the custom-made interior that Yoke has designed for the space. This flexibility makes it possible to cater to different needs and scenarios. As a part of the visitor centre, Yoke has also created four digital hubs, which make it possible to unfold specific content for workshops. And finally, an engaging film experience communicating the story of the Danish creative DNA and the eight industries represented by Creative Denmark.
Creative Denmark is a worldwide venture communicating with clients across the globe. Therefore, part of Yoke's assignment was to create a website with a digital universe where visitors can explore the visitor centre online. This website also allows for the customisation of online meetings to fit the design identity of Creative Denmark.
House of Creative Denmark was made possible with the support of Realdania and The Danish Industry Foundation. The online version of the visitor centre is produced in collaboration with Milk Studio. Furniture is made in collaboration with SPEKTA.
